Hello everyone! I wanted to take a moment to explain why we haven’t been posting much lately. Rest assured, it’s not due to a lack of content or interest, but rather because we’ve been incredibly busy launching a company and managing various projects.

In fact, we have several articles that are almost ready to go, but we want to make sure they receive the attention they deserve. One topic we plan to cover soon is the recent article claiming the “death of eVTOL industry” published on Air Insight.

As a former journalist with over 18 years of experience, I believe it’s essential to question the sources and motivations behind such claims. We’ll be taking a closer look at this topic and providing our own insights.

Additionally, we’ve delivered several international presentations on Patreon, which we’d love to share with you. If you’re interested, please let us know, and we’ll consider making them available for purchase.

We’re also working on a three-part video series focused on electric mobility, multi-mobility convergence, and more. These videos will be part of our upcoming keynote presentation at DRIFTx in Abu Dhabi on April 25th. Keep an eye out for those, and we hope to return to our regular posting schedule soon.

It’s been over a week since the Arab Aviation Summit 2024 finished and it has taken us this long to wrap our heads around the ramifications and potential this summit has had for the industry at large.

The Arab Aviation Summit 2024, held in Ras-Al-Khaimah (RAK) in the United Arab Emirates, was a resounding success. This high-profile event brought together leaders and experts from the aviation industry across the Arabian peninsula, showcasing the region’s commitment to embracing modernization and cutting-edge technologies.

Arab Aviation Summit Spells AAM Future for the UAE

As a representative of Electric Air Mobility, LLC, I was honored to participate in the summit and share my insights on the future of aviation. The conference began with a panel discussion featuring Arab Youth in Aviation, highlighting the region’s young talent pool and their passion for shaping the industry’s future. My keynote presentation on innovations in aviation and the rise of advanced air mobility was well-received, and I’m excited to share it with our Patreon members soon.

Other notable speakers included Jen Watson, Founder & CEO of Renaissance, who discussed the robust and diverse workforce emerging in the region, and Mark Van Doorne, VP of Master Planning for the King Salman International Airport Development Company, who offered valuable insights into the company’s plans for international growth and development. The potential of blockchain technology in airport operations and aviation was also explored.

Ras-Al-Khaimah, UAE, International Tourism Hub

Ras-Al-Khaimah (RAK) is well-known for its local international tourism as well as its modernization initiatives and science endeavors. One aspect that stood out during the summit was the emphasis on hospitality, which is deeply ingrained in Emirati culture. From the warm welcome at Dubai airport to the thoughtful offer of a free SIM card and 5G connection, the UAE demonstrated its commitment to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for visitors.

Artificial intelligence (AI) was a popular topic, with discussions focusing on its potential to transform the aviation industry. Rather than simply hyping AI as a solution to all problems, the conversation centered around practical applications that could streamline the user experience, eliminate unnecessary steps, and reduce friction throughout the travel process. The goal is to create a hassle-free journey for travelers, from initial contact to arrival and beyond.

Sustainability, infrastructure, and air traffic management were among the other topics covered during the summit. Presentations from government officials dominated the second day of the event, highlighting the region’s efforts to enhance airport operations and embrace new technologies.
