Reflecting on the Success of the eVTOL Show USA

There are more solutions than obstacles, Nicolas Zart

How do you measure the success of an event? One way is through the feedback from attendees. Hearing how much they valued the experience, praised the event team, and recognized it as one of their favorites is a testament to its impact.

A Unique 12-Hour Format Packed with Insights

Chairing the eVTOL Show USA was a genuine honor. This event stands out for its unique condensed, high-impact format, packing 12 hours of industry insights, presentations, and deep dives into advanced air mobility (AAM) technologies.

The agenda showcased a comprehensive mix of industry insights and technology deep dives. We heard from Eric Alison, Chief Product Officer of Joby Aviation, sharing some of the company’s strategies. Venkat Viswanathan, Faculty of the University of Michigan and Co-Founder of And Battery Aero, followed him. We learned that the University has the oldest mobility department in the country. Next, was Shawn Kozica, Deputy Director at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of NextGen, who brought us up to speed on the latest regulatory body certification roadmap for AAM.

We heard from other experts on innovations in battery technology and energy solutions critical to eVTOL success, and much more. You can check the website for more.

Unlike other events that focus on specific areas—be it academia, traditional aviation, or public engagement—the eVTOL Show USA elegantly bridges the gap with only one panel. It delivers a strategic and technological deep dive, offering unparalleled value to industry stakeholders.

What Makes the eVTOL Show USA Unique

The eVTOL Show USA distinguished itself by creating an intensive, one-day experience packed with quality discussion in a twelve-hour format. Its ability to combine strategy, innovation, and actionable insights within such a concentrated timeframe was a highlight for me and, I’m sure, for many attendees.

Looking Ahead

As someone deeply immersed in the electric mobility and AAM sectors for nearly two decades, I’ve seen the rapid evolution of this industry. Each event provides a new opportunity to learn, share, and collaborate with the brilliant minds driving this space forward.

The eVTOL Show USA exemplified what makes these gatherings so valuable—an engaged audience, thought-provoking presentations, and the chance to connect with peers shaping the future of mobility. The next eVTOL Show will be held in Stuttgart, Germany on the 12th of February. A special thanks to Ashley Barnes, CEO of We Automotive, and Lee Walker for making this event the success it deserves to be.

Now, I look forward to the AAM Summit in Lisbon, where I’ll have the privilege of chairing another event. Events like these are more than professional obligations; they’re moments of inspiration that energize me for the road ahead.
